Master of Arts

There are three Masters of Arts programs at AMBS:

► Master of Arts in Christian Formation

The Master of Arts in Christian Formation (MACF) prepares students for ministry in spiritual formation and guidance, teaching ministry and worship. This degree is not intended to prepare people for independent ministerial leadership of the congregation. (Individuals interested in pastoral ministry should review our Master of Divinity degree.)

► Master of Arts: Theology and Global Anabaptism

The Master of Arts: Theology and Global Anabaptism (MATGA) is a fully online academic degree that prepares scholars, teachers, pastors and leaders to integrate knowledge of and formation in the Anabaptist tradition with service in their current and future communities.

► Master of Arts: Theology and Peace Studies

The Master of Arts: Theology and Peace Studies (MATPS) degree prepares students interested in careers and scholarship at the intersection of theology and transformative peacebuilding.
