This daylong workshop is for pastors, lay leaders, youth leaders, parents, educators and those forming faith in the community. You don’t need to be ordained or in a ministry role to take advantage of this opportunity to learn!
This Leadership Clinic takes place on Monday, February 21, before Pastors & Leaders | Deep Faith 2022 begins. You can register for the Leadership Clinic by itself or in addition to your Pastors & Leaders | Deep Faith 2022 registration.

Healthy Boundaries 101 Training
Presenters: David B. Miller, M.Div., D.Min., Teaching Associate of the AMBS Church Leadership Center; Laurel Neufeld Weaver, MSW LISW-S, Clinical Social Worker from Bluffton, OH.

This Leadership Clinic meets the Healthy Boundaries training requirement for credentialed leaders in Mennonite Church USA and Mennonite Church Canada.
In 2015, Mennonite Church USA adopted a Churchwide Statement on Sexual Abuse. In this statement, the church committed to actions to prevent sexual abuse and policies to be followed if abuse occurs. In living out these commitments, both Mennonite Church USA and Mennonite Church Canada began requiring all credentialed pastors to participate in Healthy Boundaries Training.
Founded on a theological and ethical discussion of power and vulnerability, Healthy Boundaries focuses on the particular roles that pastoral caregivers fulfill within a spiritual community. This curriculum is designed to strengthen the understanding of the needs for boundaries, as a method of self-care and community care. The goal of the training is to increase understanding, self-awareness, accountability, the practice of healthy boundaries, integrity and safety.
This Leadership Clinic meets the Healthy Boundaries training requirement for credentialed leaders in Mennonite Church USA and Mennonite Church Canada.
The evening of the Leadership Clinic will be the opening night of Pastors & Leaders | Deep Faith 2022. Learn more
Registration:
Registration before the Jan. 15 early registration deadline is $65 USD, and $95 USD thereafter. The final registration deadline is Feb. 14.

Refunds
Before Jan 31, 2022 cancellations will be refunded, less $25. After this date, cancellations will be granted credit, less $25, toward a future day-long workshop within one year. Refund credits must be requested within 24 hours of the event.
