Discounts for online courses at AMBS

Online students can receive special financial aid equal to half the tuition when they fit one of the two groups described below.

Nonadmitted, first-time students

Individuals can receive this benefit when taking their first online course if they have not previously taken a course at AMBS and are not admitted to or enrolled at AMBS or another graduate theological program. These students must submit transcripts from previous study. It is expected that students will have a baccalaureate degree, but students without a baccalaureate degree may be enrolled. The student services fee applies and is not discounted. Persons meeting these qualifications may register using the “One-course registration form” (at the bottom of the list).

Students at Conrad Grebel University College (Grebel) and Canadian Mennonite University (CMU)

Students enrolled in master's-level programs at these two institutions will receive this benefit for all online AMBS courses they take. These students must show proof of enrollment in the form of a letter of standing from their school. The student services fee applies and is not discounted.

Procedure

Students wishing to receive this benefit should register using the “CMU / Conrad Grebel registration form” and select the “online” course type.

  • First-time online students: Pay applicable tuition and fees. This can be done securely online with a credit card at time of registration, or the student can mail a check or money order payable to AMBS with a copy of the registration form to Registrar's Office, AMBS, 3003 Benham Avenue, Elkhart, IN 46517-1947. Enrollment will be processed after payment is received.
  • Conrad Grebel University College students, Canadian Mennonite University students and other Canadian students: Canadian students may pay tuition at par through the registration form or by mailing a Canadian funds check for the tuition amount owed to the Registrar's Office, AMBS, 3003 Benham Avenue, Elkhart, IN 46517-1947, USA. They may also pay by calling the AMBS Business Office at 574-295-3726 x226.
